Custom Wedding Band Inspired by Nergigante from Monster Hunter, Forged with Strength and Connection

From Bazelgeuse to Nergigante
When a couple came to us to create a new custom wedding band inspired by the fierce Elder Dragon Nergigante, it marked the next chapter in a story we had already begun. A few years earlier, we had crafted an engagement and wedding set inspired by Bazelgeuse, designed for the bride. Now it was time to bring the partner’s favorite monster to life in a design that felt just as bold and meaningful. It would stand powerfully on its own while visually complementing the original piece.

Designing the World of Nergigante
Takayas translated the wild and relentless power of Nergigante into a form that could be worn with elegance. The design centers around two sweeping horns that rise from the band’s shoulders, framing the top and giving the piece a sense of motion and tension, as if it is always on the edge of bursting forward. Down the sides, a stream of individually carved spikes echoes the monster’s layered armor, sculpted in rose gold against a white gold foundation. Rather than replicating the creature, the design focuses on evoking its spirit, capturing qualities of resilience, strength, and the ability to regenerate through destruction. The result is a band that feels alive, with movement, structure, and depth that invite the eye.

Two Designs, One Story
What makes this ring especially meaningful is how it complements the original Bazelgeuse-inspired piece. Both rings stand independently, with their own characters and inspirations, but together they create a visual connection. They speak the same language through curved forms, layered detail, and fantasy-inspired storytelling.
