Takayas finely sculpted the tapering feathers in three-dimensional layers, illuminating their powerful, lifelike look.
Carved geometric patterns beautifully frame the design, from rectangular links that run around the band's rim to a checkerboard backdrop below the Dark Angel wings. To emphasize the eye-catching contrast between each distinct element, black rhodium plating on the lower surface of the band stands out against the raised white gold details.
