Sakura Diamond Engagement Ring: Love Blossoms in Japan
Albert’s love for Kriselda shines as beautifully as the ring he commissioned from Takayas. With a heartfelt plan to propose during their upcoming trip to Japan, he envisioned a one-of-a-kind engagement ring inspired by the country’s iconic sakura -- cherry blossoms.
For Albert’s destination proposal, Takayas designed a breathing ring that captured the spirit of their love story. The rose gold ring features a carefully chosen round brilliant diamond at its center surrounded by delicate cherry blossoms and sinuous stems adorned with leaves dancing along the shank.
The larger cherry blossoms on the shoulders lead to more petite cherry blossoms flowing down the tapered shank. The side galleries feature pink sapphire bejeweled blossoms complementing the organic motif and bringing an extra bit of sophistication to nature's charm. Finally, flower petals are scattered on the sides of the ring just as they fall from the trees during Japan’s hanami --cherry blossom viewing season.
As the symbol of the couple’s precious union for many decades to come, Takayas wanted to make sure the ring was timelessly elegant as well as enjoyable to wear. He hoped that every time that Kriselda looks upon her hand, she will fondly remember their special trip to Japan.
