The shank of the ring is intricately designed to evoke the dense, magical forest Mei runs through as she follows Chu and Chibi Totoro. The openwork of the sinuous and intricate branches and vines create the tunnel within the ring -- we like to think of it as a metaphor for the journey the couple will embark on -- a path filled with excitement, discovery, and shared dreams. For an added sparkle, Takayas added additional diamonds on the ring's shoulders.
As a special surprise for Michael’s soon-to-be fiancée, Takayas cleverly hid Chu and Chibi Totoro inside the shank of the ring. Tucked within the openwork of the forest design, these playful details are waiting to be discovered—perfect for someone who loves finding hidden treasure.
