Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy X Inspired Engagement Ring | Designed by Takayas
This custom engagement ring began with a simple wish to bring two beloved worlds together in a way that felt meaningful and wearable every day. The inspiration came from the iconic paopu fruit in Kingdom Hearts and the flowing lines found in the Final Fantasy X logo. Rather than recreating these motifs literally, Takayas shaped a design that carries their spirit with quiet elegance.
At the center of the ring rests a round brilliant lab-grown diamond weighing approximately 1.02 carats. Its soft sparkle is gently framed by the curved silhouette of the paopu fruit, forming a subtle and symbolic focal point. From there, the platinum shank transitions into graceful lines that echo the sweeping motion of the Final Fantasy X logo. Each contour was refined to create a balanced sense of movement that feels calm, fluid, and alive.

Delicate melee diamonds are set along the sides, catching the light from different angles and adding a touch of gentle shimmer. The ring’s sculpted form has been carefully polished and shaped for comfort, allowing it to be worn with ease throughout each day.

When the ring was completed, it became a quiet reflection of a story held close to the heart. We later received the happy news that the proposal was a success, and the piece was received with joy. A cherished memory has now taken shape as a design that will accompany the couple through the years ahead.
