Gundam O-Raiser Inspired Wedding Band | Custom Design by Takayas
Following the creation of her striking lab grown emerald engagement ring inspired by the iconic Gundam Wing series, Denise also commissioned a matching custom wedding band to complete her set. Designed during the same creative journey, this unique piece draws from a different motif in the Gundam universe—specifically, the O-Raiser support craft from Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
Just as the O-Raiser serves to enhance and stabilize the 00 Gundam, this wedding band was crafted to echo and elevate the striking presence of Denise’s engagement ring. While designed to complement the bold beauty of the center ring, it also stands proudly on its own. It carries its own quiet strength, adding a composed dimension to the overall set. Together, the two rings reflect a harmony of contrast—dynamic and serene, expressive and refined.
Takayas crafted the band in 14K white gold, drawing upon the O-Raiser’s distinctive silhouette and structural elegance. Bold, intersecting forms echo the mecha’s wing-like extensions, balanced by smooth negative space that adds breathability to the piece. Subtle tapering and gentle curvature ensure that the ring hugs Denise’s finger with both presence and grace.
We were truly honored to bring Denise and Raymond’s shared vision to life. Their heartfelt message after the wedding reminded us just how meaningful these designs can be.
