Final Fantasy XIV Black Mage Inspired Engagement Ring | Custom Design by Takayas

This engagement ring was created with inspiration drawn from the Black Mage job in Final Fantasy XIV.
From the beginning, the goal was to translate the visual language of magic and elemental energy into a design that would function naturally as an engagement ring.

The ring features an amethyst as the center stone.
Its rich purple color closely aligns with the Black Mage aesthetic and serves as the focal point of the design.
The stone’s proportions and setting height were carefully adjusted to balance visual presence with everyday wearability.

The shank design is built around flowing, layered lines that suggest the movement of magical energy.
Rather than relying on a single repeated pattern, multiple sculpted elements overlap and connect along the sides of the band.
This layered structure reflects the elemental themes of fire, ice, and lightning while maintaining a cohesive and controlled form.

Black diamond accent stones are set into the shoulders of the ring.
Their placement adds contrast and depth without competing with the center stone.
The darker tone of the diamonds helps define the overall composition and supports the visual balance of the design.
