FFXIV: Shadowbringers Hades Inspired Ring

The Final Fantasy franchise has touched so many people, creating a community filled with such wonder and great memories. With Square Enix officially announcing the next chapter of the Final Fantasy VII remake saga, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, this week Takayas Custom Jewelry shares this beautiful Final Fantasy inspired amethyst ring commissioned by our friend Diana. Drawing inspiration from the two distinct forms of Hades seen in FFXIV: Shadowbringers, Takayas designed a stunning, statement-making piece in white gold! The dramatic spikes of Hades’ crown form a unique setting that upholds a mystifying amethyst center stone. These bold angles are elegantly complemented by amethyst-studded rhombus shapes embellished on the ring’s sleek shoulders, reflecting the earrings worn by Hades’ humanoid form, Emet-Selch. Intricate, swirling organic details inspired by Hades’ flowing garments and armor design adorn the graceful band, blending seamlessly with the geometry of the crown and earrings. For a special touch that pulls together the entire design perfectly, Takayas filled the open space inside the crown-shaped setting with architectural patterns from Emet-Selch’s mysterious city of Amaurot!

After reaching out to her, Diana kindly shared with us her story: "FFXIV brought unique and positive energy into my life during the pandemic. All the wonderful memories and the support from friends helped me get to where I am today. For my 30th birthday, I decided to host a small FFXIV-themed event for myself and my friends! I contacted Takayas Custom Jewelry to commission a ring for this special occasion. I wanted a piece inspired by the concept art of Hades from Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers. When I received the 3D render, I was stunned by the details and thoughts they put into the design. Working with Takayas was a wonderful experience!"
