Custom Men’s Wedding Band Inspired by Final Fantasy XIV Warrior
This men’s ring was created with inspiration drawn from the Warrior class in Final Fantasy XIV.
From the beginning, the goal was to capture the job’s bold, armored presence while keeping the design refined enough to wear comfortably as a wedding band.
For this project, the client was drawn to the Warrior not only for its strength and resilience, but for the role it plays as a steadfast frontline protector.
That sense of weight, reliability, and grounded power became the foundation of the design direction.
At the center of the ring sits a garnet.
Its deep red tone was chosen to convey intensity and inner strength, acting as a visual anchor for the entire piece.
Black diamond accent stones are set on either side, adding contrast and reinforcing the darker, more serious tone associated with the Warrior aesthetic.
The overall structure of the ring draws directly from the Warrior’s iconic axe and the visual language of plate armor.
Rather than focusing on decorative excess, the design emphasizes strong surfaces, deliberate lines, and controlled geometry.
Patterned cutouts and sculpted transitions introduce depth and rhythm across the band, allowing the ring to feel powerful without becoming visually heavy.
Throughout the design process, careful attention was given to proportion and wearability.
Despite the bold inspiration, the ring maintains a balanced profile, ensuring it functions comfortably as an everyday wedding band while still carrying the unmistakable presence of its source material.
