A Dance of Fantasy and Grace: Katherine’s Final Fantasy Inspired Engagement Ring

For Katherine, an engagement ring was more than a symbol of love – it was an opportunity to bring her favorite elements from the fantasy worlds of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy XIV to life. Collaborating with Takayas, Katherine commissioned a truly one-of-a-kind piece inspired by Yuna from Final Fantasy X and the mesmerizing Dancer class from FFXIV. The result? A stunning platinum engagement ring with a unique blend of intricate symbolism and artistry that embodies Katherine’s passions.

At the heart of her ring, a soft, blush-toned pink sapphire gleams as the centerpiece. Set in a design inspired by Yuna’s obi, the setting gracefully cradles the stone, bringing to mind the elegance and spirit of Final Fantasy X’s beloved summoner. Upon seeing the pink sapphire Takayas sourced from his trusted network of gem vendors, Katherine said, “The jewel Takayas chose for my ring perfectly complements the design.”

Takayas wove an organic flowing motif into the shank, featuring sinuous vines that echo the natural beauty and movement of a dancer. Lotus blossom, symbolizing purity and grace, adorn the shoulders of the ring, each set with diamonds in honor of the FFXIV Dancer class. The lotus blossoms add a touch of ethereal beauty, while delicate details like the Dancer’s heart-shaped job class icon and stylized peacock feathers nod to the class’s iconic symbols, further infusing the ring with a sense of elegance and lore.

Katherine graciously shared her experience of working with us saying “Takayas was so responsive to and considerate of my feedback, I feel like my ring truly reflects my love for Yuna from Final Fantasy X and the Dancer class from Final Fantasy XIV.”

To Katherine, we send our warmest congratulations and best wishes. May her journey with her partner be as magical and enduring as the Final Fantasy worlds that inspired her bespoke ring!
