Elizabeth’s minimalist geometric engagement ring is exactly the type of contemporary, architectural style that Takayas specializes in creating.

All of our engagement rings begin with a consultation to understand our customer’s design style. For her ring, Elizabeth wanted to incorporateangular, symmetrical shapes like rhomboids. She also liked the idea of a gently sloped solitaire setting to add an overall sleekness to the design. This was a fantastic choice because it helped to break up the heaviness of all of the angles in the band.

The finished palladium ring features a 2.00 ct moissanite center stone set in a curved solitaire setting of overlapping rhomboids. To create lightness and add an interesting visual element, Takayas also varied the thickness of some of the differentshapes’ sides.

It was such a pleasure working with Elizabeth to create her ring, and we were thrilled with how the finished piece came out. We wishherand her fiancee Kaelan all the bestwith their wedding planning!
