Chinese Dragon Wedding Band

Last week we featured a lovely set of custom pieces, a Phoenix ring and its Dragon ring holder necklace. Truly exquisite pieces created especially for Karen at the request of Kyle. Today Takayas Custom Jewelry presents the stunning wedding band Karen ordered for Kyle that had her coveting her own draconic jewelry. Embedded with mighty Dragons and glittering blue stones, Kyle’s band shines as the perfect partner piece to Karen’s elegant Phoenix ring. Two noble Dragons subtly mirror the style of Karen’s ring. Each clutching an alluring London blue topaz within their claws like the treasured flaming pearls of traditional Chinese art, adding a special touch of Kyle’s favorite color. Layers of carefully fashioned details lend the Dragons a sense of depth, as they stand boldly out against the artistic backdrop of the band. Karen greatly desired a Dragon wedding band for Kyle that matches her own Phoenix ring to symbolize the constant and eternal love they share. Two graceful and powerful figures of Chinese myth unite in a harmonious marriage, a concept she has always loved and cherished. Kyle provided his own impressions of their mythical custom journey: “In my opinion, you can’t go wrong keeping a powerful Dragon on your finger. You never know when you’ll need some Dragon power to do amazing things like fly, shoot fire, or change colors. I will admit, though, that I was completely unaware of the symbolism and harmony between the Chinese dragon and phoenix until I met Karen. In fact, I started this entire process originally looking for a dragon engagement ring for Karen! Rookie mistake. Luckily I had the good sense to bring her in on the design process early on and together we worked with Takayas to bring our vision to life of a phoenix ring for her and a dragon ring for me. I am absolutely stunned with how our pieces turned out. We had high expectations but they were exceeded. Our rings and Karen's necklace mean so, so much to us. From the design process, to meeting Takayas in person in his Los Angeles studio (and the resulting mini-vacation we had when visiting LA), to receiving the finished pieces… the whole experience was a positive one. We will cherish Takayas’ work for the rest of our lives together.” Thank you, Kyle and Karen, for allowing us to be a part of this wonderfully mystical journey. We wish you both an eternally joyous and prosperous marriage filled with bountiful memories! Are you ready to begin your custom journey?
