Beauty And The Beast Inspired Bridal Set

Aaron's romantic custom bridal set was inspired by a Victorian ring from the 1800s and his girlfriend (now wife)'s favorite love story: Beauty and the Beast. He wanted to keep the antique ring's color scheme, since the combination of gold with cobalt blue enamel perfectly represented the colors of the iconic ballroom scene from Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

If you're a fan of the movie, you'll remember that the enchanted rose is a major plot point so, of course, the rose theme had to be included! Aaron asked that the setting for the engagement ring's main stone be made to look like a blooming rose, and requested stemmed roses to be incorporated into the design of the shank as well. As a finishing touch, "Tale as old as time" was engraved inside the engagement ring.

When we sent the CAD renders to Aaron for approval, he said he loved it, which is always a good reaction. Then, he showed his girlfriend and her reaction was even better! He told us:

"She cried, so I think you did an amazing job on the design."

For the wedding band, Takayas used the stemmed roses once again but decided to add one more Beauty and the Beast reference: a ribbon-like silhouette of the Beast's profile, mirror-reversed to match the direction of the roses. If you focus on the looped section of the "ribbon", this is the top of the Beast's head, continuing into his horns and down the profile of his face to his beard.

We loved creating this magical bridal set and hope Aaron and his bride live happily ever after.
